Whenever i get some greens from myself my florist gives me in either polybag or in paper.
Paper i know is bad and makes them dry but what about polybag. Does the buds remains fresh in polybag?
I’m going to my hometown and have some buds left. I want to store them properly so that they remain fresh when i come back.
Kindly help.06/10/2020 at 8:31 pm #938stonedrahulParticipant
I assume that your herbs are of good quality that’s why you’re thinking of preserving them.
You can buy a glass jar. They are easily available online or you can shop from Vishal Mega Mart for economical ones.
Store your herbs in it and keep the jar air pack in a cool dark place so that the moisture doesn’t goes inside the jar.
The herbs will remain fresh.
May i know for how long you’re thinking to preserve them?07/10/2020 at 2:09 pm #941AvinashdParticipant
The moisture is what makes the buds dry.
i’ve tried zip pouches, aluminium papers, glass jars but after sometime the nugs becomes dry.
From my personal experience i would say that you can keep them fresh for maximum of 2/3 weeks.
if you buy a specific moisture resistant pouch then you can keep them fresh for over a year also.
those pouches I don’t think are available in Indian smokeshops easily. Happy hunting
